Banana Nut Winter Smoothie

Use our local pecans and local yogurt just because you can!
A wonderfully delicious way to get plenty of antioxidants, fresh fruit, nuts, and natural immune boosting yogurt cultures in a kid-friendly smoothy!
Nutmeg is touted to have calming qualities by some authorities.

Vegetarian!

Ingredients
1 Frozen Banana
1 cup yogurt (Split Creek Farm of course)      View Available Products
1/4 cup chopped nuts (Pecans or walnuts)
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp honey or Maple syrup
1/8 tsp ground Nutmeg

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Cut banana into 3-4 chunks and peel.
  2. Place in blender with the rest of ingredients
  3. Blend on high for 2 minutes or until smooth
  4. Pour into glass and top with a dusting of ground nutmeg
